Anesthesia Station

It started as a quick favor.

It turned into a user interview with the Chief of Anesthesia at the Mayo Clinic — and the beginning of our company’s first foray into the operating room.

I stepped in as product owner, lead designer, and project manager, guiding the engineering team through unfamiliar territory: FDA regulations, complex third-party integrations, and the limits of RFID and Bluetooth technology in medical environments.

What began as a one-off request became a crash course in material science, systems design, and organizational change, culminating in a new company-wide PMO framework I designed and implemented myself.
