About Me

Hi, I’m Shevonne Ross, a multidisciplinary Product Designer passionate about building thoughtful, user-centered experiences that solve complex problems and create measurable impact. I bring together expertise in UX design, technical communication, brand strategy, and creative leadership to design scalable systems that empower users and strengthen organizations.

I started my education journey as a Psychology major at the University of Manitoba, but I soon felt that creativity was missing from my life, and I made a strategic pivot to design. But I’ve always had a fascination with the human mind and I find ways to use the skills I gained through my experiences in my design work. I’m now a proud graduate of RRC Polytechnic’s Graphic Design program, and I’m always exploring new ways design can simplify information, elevate brands, and make technology more human.

I’ve spent the past several years shaping products in the healthcare technology space, where clarity, consistency, and trust are essential. As the lead Product Designer at ARxIUM, I led cross-functional teams spanning product, documentation, and marketing to deliver cohesive, accessible solutions for pharmacy and operating room software. I built the company’s first-ever design system, unifying the design system for 5 enterprise pharmacy automation products.

My approach blends strategic insight with systems thinking. I look for patterns across products, processes, and people. I believe great design is more than aesthetics; it’s about reducing friction, empowering users, and telling a story that makes sense.

Collaboration is at the heart of my process. I love working closely with engineers, writers, and executives to align on vision, clarify complexity, and turn ideas into intuitive, inclusive experiences. I’m also passionate about mentorship and helping teams grow through design best practices, clear KPIs, and shared learning.
